Our workshops are designed to raise awareness of the impacts development has on our rivers and watersheds and provide the participant with an understanding of how each one of us can work to lesson the impact. Through a variety of presentations, hands-on demonstrations, activities and discussions you will see first hand how decisions we make every day can alter our waterways. Our workshops are customized to fit the needs of your group or organization and are suitable for just about any age group. Sustain the River Excursion Ready for a new kind of workshop experience? Our Sustain the River Excursion is an adventure workshop and provides an up close and personal view of development's impacts. As participants canoe down the river (workshop lengths vary based upon the river and the amount of paddling desired), we will have scheduled stops along the way where we will hear from our expert guides on topics such as: storm water management, waste water treatment, history of the specific river and region, fresh water processing, neighborhood impacts, and farming and agriculture impacts.
